Chewer Chew Guard Edging
Designed for fast and easy installation, our heavy steel Chewer Chew Guard Edging system makes it easy to protect and repair all exposed wood surfaces in your barn. Chewer easily covers all exposed wood edges with rugged, rust resistant 20 gauge galvanized steel. No cutting is required, mounting holes are punched at the factory and the mounting screws are provided. The Chewer system is ready to use. Using heavy duty zinc coated steel to resist both teeth and corrosion, Chewer is easy to use with no special tools needed for installation, only a screw driver.
Chewer Chew Guard Edging is available in many stock sizes and shapes or can be custom bent to fit your special requirements at no extra charge. Because all barns are not the same we can adjust the size of any bend at no extra charge. For example: 1-1/2" x 1-1/2" angle may not fit but a 1.5" x 1.75" angle would be perfect. Either custom bent or in standard sizes the Chewer system comes complete with everything needed for a quick and easy installation by anyone. No special tools are required. There are no minimum order quantities, you order only what you need in the size you need. All Chewer pieces are shipped by UPS for fast safe and economical delivery.
Chewer Chew Guard Edging is available as a single piece for a simple spot repair or in medium and large quantities for several stalls, sheds or the whole barn. Chewer can be used in many places and in many different ways.
- Use it in new construction to protect your investment and maintain that new look not only in the stall but anywhere you need protection. Use it at all doorways, or on posts in the aisle to protect from wheelbarrow and tractor bumps and dings. Use it to install bars or mesh for grills and windows easily and neatly, we punch all the holes. Door kicker? Cover the inside of dutch doors the way they do in Europe.
- Use it to protect stalls from the occasional chewer, put it just where it's needed, sometimes one piece is all that's needed.
Or is yours an older barn that looks like it had a beaver in it, use Chewer to cover those sections that have been abused and make them look like new. Covering damaged wood with chewer is more cost effective than replacing the damage and it is a lot easier.
